Wayne G. Sines, 94, of Bringhurst, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, August 13, 2020 at St Franciscan Hospital East in Lafayette. Wayne was born to the late Robert and Dorothy Heiland Sines on August 23, 1925 in Flora, IN. On February 13, 1948 Wayne married Marjorie Jordon in Flora and she survives. Wayne called himself “Oil Jobber” He had the Bulk Plant in Flora for years and would deliver fuel oil to the surrounding area. Wayne served our country during WWII in the US Navy. He graduated from Flora High School and was an active member of Living Faith Church of the Brethren. Wayne is survived by his wife, Dorothy of 72 years. Two sons: Thomas (Valeda) Sines of Westfield, IN and Jeffrey Sines of Oak Landing, IN. Three grandchildren: Daniel Sines, Beth Dougherty and Deborah Mayberry. Seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded by his parents, brother-Dick, sister-Virginia and a daughter at birth.
There will be a private service for Wayne with burial at Maple Lawn Cemetery with Carroll County Honor Guard graveside rites. Pastor Jeff Tomson will officiate.
