Virginia Ann (Pullen) McCracken, 86, of Bringhurst, IN. went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, September 16, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi. Virginia was born to the late Bert S. and Mabel B. Bordner Pullen on October 15, 1934, in Cutler, IN. On August 21, 1954, Virginia married James A. McCracken and he preceded her on February 17, 2012. Virginia worked at Sayco as an inspector in the Plating Department. She was a graduate of Cutler High School Class of 1952. Virginia was a member of the Bringhurst United Methodist Church and enjoyed watching and attending sporting events at Carroll High School. Her love for her family was the main point of her life. Virginia is survived by her daughter: Karen S. (Rod) Allen of Delphi. Three sons: Alan L (Dale) McCracken of Camden, Gary J (Judy) McCracken of Bringhurst and Mark B (Jill) McCracken of Ashburn, Virginia. Sister: Winifred (Max) Landes of Logansport. Brother: Carol B (Jane) Pullen of Cutler. Thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded by her parents, husband, sister-Kathryn Sparks, brother-Harold Pullen and two great-grandchildren-Brady Noonkester and Artemis Ritter.
Family will receive friends Monday, September 20, 2021, from 12:00 pm until time of her celebration of life at 2:00 PM at the Bringhurst United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Brad Burton. Burial to follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Bringhurst United Methodist Church. Face coverings are optional while visiting.
