Karen Sue Mohler, 82, of Flora, Indiana passed peacefully from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 18, 2024, in Lafayette. She was born April 22, 1942, in Flora, Indiana to the late Evan and Dorothy Miller Flora. Karen married Eldon Mohler on July 8, 1961and he preceded her in 2012. During their 51 years of marriage, they enjoyed their time traveling with each other and family. Karen is survived by two daughters: Denise McAninch of Lafayette and Deedra (Kurt) Jacobs of Flora. Two granddaughters: Megan (Wayne) Benedict and Bethany Jacobs. Two great-grandsons: Crew and Owen Benedict. Two brothers: Kenneth (Erma) Flora and Earl (Martha) Flora. She is preceded by her husband, parents and brother David Flora. Karen will truly be missed by her family and those who knew and loved her.
The Mohler Family invite friends to visit Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Victory In Christ Fellowship, 115 N Washington Street, Flora, Indiana 46929. Celebration of Karen Sue Mohler’s Life will begin at 3:00pm at the church. Pastors Larry Miller and Greg Brenneman. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
