Hannah Marie Kidwell, 20, of West Lafayette, died Friday, November 5, 2021, in Clearwater, Florida. Hannah was born to Michael and Wendy Kidwell on April 26, 2001, in Lafayette, Indiana.
Hannah was a loving and compassionate young lady who loved being silly. Her smile would light up your soul. Although she had struggles in life, like so many do, she was happy to learn and share about God with others. She would always pray for those in need. Hannah was a true blessing from God to all, and she will always be in her family and friend’s hearts.

November 11, 2021 12:28 am ·To our Kidwell Family,
We are so incredibly sorry for the loss of Hannah!
Your family holds a special place in our hearts, and always love will. Hannah brought so much joy into our lives and we are infinitely better for that.
We will always remember her as our Flower Girl who was kindhearted, caring, and kept chasing Tom around during the wedding to make sure he danced with her. Once she got her dance with Tom, she walked over to me and told me it was my turn. She always made sure you knew how much you meant to her.
We will miss her deeply!
We are here for everyone of you! We love you all.
Sincerest Condolences,
Tom, Stephanie, Dylan, Elizabeth, & Skylar

November 12, 2021 10:34 am ·The Mull Family is heart-broken for you! All of us were so shocked and saddened by the news of her loss. We didn’t get to know her as long as your older boys, but the first memory that came to my mind was that I remember the last time I saw her thinking she was such a sweet girl. I was glad to see this description of her as it helped me get to know more about her. We love you and your boys and we are praying for peace that passes all understanding and comfort from our Lord and Savior.

November 12, 2021 10:37 am ·Kidwell Family,
I send my deepest condolences to your family. Hannah was a friend of mine, one of the few people I became close to in the mere year I spent in Indiana. We worked together and spent time outside of work together, and Hannah was a beautifully bright, kind, giggly and wonderful young woman. From the moment I met her I knew she was something special and rare; truly pure hearted. She has been on my mind, in my prayers, and highly spoken of. Hannah had a way of always making you feel like you were living for the moment around you. She will be dearly missed by so many.

November 14, 2021 8:10 am ·Dear Kidwell Family,
My deepest condolences for your tremendous loss. I am keeping you all in my prayers.
I’ll remember when Hannah and I were on the same WL swim team for 2 years. I remember that she had some injuries at the start which prevented her from joining us in the pool for a while during her freshman season. I only talked with her here and there during the “dryland” portions of our practices so I didn’t know her as well as others. However, I recall that she fit right into the team along with the rest of her freshman class when they joined. A singular moment that I’ll remember amongst these is when she was finally able to first swim that season. She demolished a 50 and/or 100 in quite an impressive display in my opinion during one of our meets (not to mention coming back from injury to do so). But I think that is who she was, someone with a lot of heart. Whether that heart was directed to the sport of swimming or toward her camaraderie with teammates and friends. And, I will always remember that about her.
Sincerely,
David Czerwonky

November 14, 2021 10:53 am ·Dear Mike, Wendy, Brandon, Nick, Chris, Mikey & Joey,
When we heard the news of Little Hannah, our hearts fell. Memories began to come to mind of when that little girl with the big smile would come and sit on Aunt Melinda’s lap; Hannah on one knee and Joey on the other. Then watching her grow to become a beautiful young woman.
We can’t understand why things happen the way they do, but rest assured Hannah’s soul is in a better place. We know that your faith in God is sufficient, but He blessed you with wonderful parents and countless family and friends to help carry you through this time of sorrow and pain. Our Lord is triumphant, and He will “wipe away every tear” and He will defeat death.
A piece of our hearts died with Hannah, but with God’s grace, and with the help of our Blessed Mother, the Angles and Saints, and of each other, we can live on with the hope that we will be reunited at the Eternal Banquet in Heaven with Hannah and all the Elect!
God’s Blessings to all of you,
Uncle Joe and Aunt Melinda
