Gary L. “Graybug” Burge, 63, of Flora, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. Gary was born to Donald L. and Jeanette Chidester Burge on January 18, 1955 in Logansport, IN. Gary attended Carroll High School, he was an avid WWII history buff, he was a State Champion Dart player and enjoyed listening to Classic Rock. In 1973 Gary joined the US Army and later the National Guard, serving our county for 22 years. He was a loyal employee for 15 years at IPC in Delphi. Graybug is survived by two sons: Derek Burge of Delphi and Justin (Amanda) Burge of Maryland. His mother: Jeanette Burge of Flora. Brother: Paul (Kelli) Burge of Bringhurst. Gary’s family invites friends to visit Friday, December 21, 2018 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Wheeler Family Funeral Home-Baker Chapel, 204 S. Center Street, Flora, IN 46929. A celebration of Graybug’s life will be at 10:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Pastor Brent Oliver will officiate. Burial to follow at Zion Cemetery with Carroll County Honor Guard rites. Memorial contributions may be given to assist the family with funeral and burial expenses, there will be envelopes available at the funeral home.

Being Full time staff I sometimes counted on your Knowledge and experience to make decisions that would impact issues of personnel and training. I truly valued and respected your oppion.
