Flora — Don J. Driggs Jr., 83, of Flora, Indiana, passed away on April 21, 2024, in Florida. With his passing, he was able to join the love of his life, Marijo Driggs. Don was born on February 8, 1941, and served in the National Guard. He spent 30 years of his life as a dedicated supervisor for the Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo, Indiana. Don was a 1959 graduate of Flora High School and received an Associate Degree from Ball State University. Don was an avid Cubs fan. He spent many years coaching youth baseball in Flora and was a positive influence in many boys’ lives. After retirement, Don and Marijo enjoyed continual visits to Disney World. Most of all he loved spending as much time as possible with his family. Making the people around him happy was his true joy in life. He is survived by his son, Dale Driggs (Jackie) of West Lafayette, his daughter, Melissa Garber of Flora, and his grandchildren, Jackson, Dawson, Dash, and Allison. Don had one brother, Dave (Shelley) of Sharpsville. Don was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Marijo, as well as his parents, Don J and Mary Elizabeth Driggs.
The Driggs family invite friends to gather Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Tropical Moments, 275 S 500 E, Flora, IN 46929 to share memories about Don and Marijo life’s. Burial will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery.

I grew up in Flora and lived down the street from Don. We had many fun neighborhood games.
I moved to Florida and in our retirement years visited with Don and his wife.
