Connie Sue Maus, 64, of Lafayette, was found deceased in her home, Thursday, November 22, 2018. Connie was born to the late Dennis and Earnestine Morgan Young on June 20, 1954 in Green County, KY. She lived most of her life in the Mulberry and Lafayette area. Connie married Joe Maus on October 31, 1994 and he preceded her in 2017. She worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in housekeeping and was security at Menards in Lafayette. Connie attended Clinton Prairie High School, loved her cat “Tasha” and her bird she had for twenty years, enjoyed plants and would keep plants for up to twenty years and would go the community garden in Lafayette. Connie is survived by two sons: Chris and Jenny Morris of Delphi and Adam Grinstead of New Mexico. Two sisters: Barbara and Lenny Haase and Louise Ubelhor both of Lafayette. Two grandchildren: Nicholas and Brooklin.
Connie’s family invites friend to visit Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Wheeler Family Funeral Home-Baker Chapel, 204 South Center Street, Flora, IN 46929. Private burial will take place at a later date. The family ask that no flowers be sent, the want all memorial donations to be given to the Tippecanoe County Human Society, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
