November 21, 2024 8:23 pm ·Bruce grew up on 800 South, just a little over a mile away. I remember he was a good athlete and a guy I walways looked up too. He also was an avid lover of the outdoors. When I was about 9 or 10 years old, I sold him a .22 pump rifle that I dearly loved but sold for some reason I can’t remember. $10 I think. He was the kind of older kid that gave you memories of high school.

November 22, 2024 8:35 am ·Bruce was always the go-to guy at the auctions if you needed something identified, him or the late Leonard Tony Thoma. Bruce was one of the best “pickers” that I have ever met. He just had that knack of being able to go to an auction and purchase THE BEST or most valuable items. He was always nice and cordial and he helped me a few times to understand WHY I was buying the wrong stuff. He has been dearly missed at the local auction where he attended every Sunday morning where Melody was so selfless to make sure that he was in attendance since he was unable to drive. My deepest sympathy goes out to to Melody who tirelessly cared for Bruce for the last several years.

Many great stories, helped shape a picture of Bruce’s character in my mind. I’m saddened by your family’s loss and lend you my heart and support as you journey forward without the rock that was your father. Much love
