Bradley E. Lawson, 91, of Flora, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 7:30 PM at his home. Brad was born to the late Hubert Stanley and Maude Ball Lawson on July 16, 1929 in Carrollton, Kentucky. He married Marilyn Joan Bergstrom on December 31, 1949 and she passed away on June 22, 2019. Brad worked as a steel mill supervisor for Continental Steel in Kokomo. He also owned and operated Lawson Plumbing and Heating in Flora. Brad was a proud Mason and was a member of the Masonic Lodge 111 in Burlington for years. Family was everything to Brad. He is survived by one son: Don E. (Angie) Lawson of Flora. Two daughters: Shirley (David “Michael”) Linkenhoker of New Waverly, IN and Debra J. Jarrard of Flora. Eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. He is preceded by a son: Gary D. Lawson. Three sisters: Dessie Marie, Ruth Christine and Betty Lois. Brother: Ancil Lawson. Niece: Janice. Nephew: David.
Brad’s Family invite friends to visit Friday, June 4, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Wheeler Family Funeral Home-Baker Chapel, 204 S. Center Street, Flora, IN 46929. Masonic service will be at 3:00 PM. Burial to follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to charity of choice in Bradley Lawson’s memory.
